The only items for discussion on the agenda included a progress report on proposed extensions of the fiber trunk.  The construction of drainage facilities at the rear of the Fire Department had held up this project, and then Sprint reported that a wrong quantity of fiber has been ordered.  The fiber is being replaced by the manufacturer and this project should begin shortly.  The fiber connection for the new Police Department building will begin from Highlands Union Bank and proceed along Russell Road , turning west at Wampler’s Insurance Agency and terminate at a hub in one of the recreation department structures near Latture Field.

The final agenda item is that of a customer documentation project that requires the assistance of NetAccess.  While the drop locations are known, other items of information are needed from NetAccess in order to determine what rates should be applied to each one.  This has been forwarded to NetAccess for their attention.

The date of the next meeting will be held on the normal fourth Wednesday meeting date which falls on 26 July, 2000.There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 1:35 PM.

Respectfully Submitted,

Albert C. Bradley,

Secretary
